Ans:- Rapunzel is none other than a character in a story. She is a girl held captive in a tall tower by an old witch.She has long h air that is used as a ladder by the witch to climb the tower. One day, a prince climbs the tower with the help of her hair. They live happily in spite of the witch's attempts to separate them.
    Amanda wants to be Rapunzel to live a life of alienation, untroubled by visitors.

Ans:- The girl yearns for a life of uncured freedom and peace. She is beleaguered with the restrictions imposed by her mother to make her well-mannered,obedient and disciplined.
    Amanda represents those children who are constantly harassed and tortured by their parents in the name of bringing reputation to their families.
