A Report is a factual description of an event or a happening. It may also give an analytical analysis of an incident. A good report is always based on first hand information about the incident/event/happening. A report can be a lengthy document or a short piece of description, depending upon the nature of the report. There are many types of reports, but we will confine ourselves to newspaper report describing events/incidents/happenings/functions and business report.

The cultural show organized by Spring Valley School, Jorhat at School Auditorium for the help of flood affected people of Majuli. The show was inaugurated by Local M.L.A., who spoke a little more about morality and programme motto and he donated 20,000 (twenty thousand) rupees for noble cause. But the programme started by cores song which is performed by school students at 7 PM. and the programme completed 12 AM. The programme organizer called some VIP Persons who donated also for flood affected people. But the programme for all men. In the progamme there was folk songs, folk dances, specially emphasizes on Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s Songs. Over all the programme was good and people enjoying it. By the programme they collected money more than 1 Lakh rupees. For collect money they could able to fulfill the demand of the flood affected people.
